Let us say that history repeats itself but with a bit of change. Actually, lots of changes. History repeats itself in terms only that President Duterte was the second president to declare Martial Law after Former President Marcos. Today’s declaration of Martial Law is far different from the history we know. And I think it is very self-explanatory for us to observe these changes. The declaration of Martial Law in the entire island of Mindanao is felt by those people who are affected by it most.
