The majestic sun has awakened, and the fluffy clouds started to unveil their lightness from the atmosphere. The birds sang mellifluously, creating melodic tunes. The roosters crowed, trying to awaken the folks in reality. The wind placidly raged, making the leaves of trees dance along with their natural gentle motions. I take a sit on the center aisle while holding a pen, and felt the energy from side to side. The moment it had not yet started, I already felt the folks could not wait to witness the performance of these three sets of performing young stars. After a few moments, the ambiance turns vivid as the noisy crowd starts to cheer their bet contenders.  Painting curve on my lips and expecting a great show from the performers, because I have the guts, that these talented young performers, although they differ in name, have always something great to showcase to everyone. “Viva humanista, humanista!” enthuses the first set of performing stars, as they start performing and pitching rhythmic notes in front of my sight. The four-cornered venue was filled with a massive crowd, with some bringing and waving banners to support their bet contenders. SMC-Iligan Fiesta Kulinarya 2018 By Rohaina Dansal No copyright infringement intended The College of Hotel and Restaurant Management (CHRM) held its 12 th  Fiesta Kulinarya Events and Competitions on March 7 and 8, 2018 at the SMC Higher Education Department Campus.  It was organized and successfully made possible by the CHRM Student Council with the guidance of the CHRM Dean Loreluz L. Estolloso, MSHRM, and through the participation of the HRM students. The event eventually aims to showcase and hone the culinary skills and talent of the HRM students through learning from the inspirational and promising talks and orientation of its speakers and joining its different kinds of activities. This has somehow molded their potential as HRM students and became a stepping-stone for them to be more equipped in terms of learning with practical application in culinary arts.
