The United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), a consortium of the world’s leading climate scientists, made a special report in 2018 about the world’s climate change. Before this report, was the birth of the Paris Agreement on December 12, 2015. To combat climate change and global warming, the Paris Agreement was adopted by 195 countries across the globe. It is a legally binding international treaty that came into force on November 4, 2016. The goal of the agreement is to keep the global temperature below 2 degrees Celsius or preferably up to 1.5 degrees Celsius till the end of the century.
